Landscaping: and points to remember!

If you are a plant lover, your work doesn’t end at hiring the landscaper and installing the plants. You are responsible for taking care of the heath of your plants. The plants are breathing and living organisms and they require proper care and maintenance is to keep them well. Proper fertilizing and watering are important part of landscaping to keep the plants strong and healthy.




You should not rely only on the irrigation to take care of your plants. The different herbs, shrubs and trees require specific care condition to bloom and prosper. These care conditions are to be kept in mind so that no plant is left ignored. The appropriate proportion of water is needed for the plants.

The best time to water your plants is in the daybreak or n the late afternoons as it helps the plants to absorb the maximum quantity of water before getting absorbed by the sun. Watering in the warmest part of the day can burn the plants and the leaves can fall off. Water percolates to the roots of the plant and serves as the raw material to synthesize food. You should never over water the plants as this can cause diseases in the plants and will kill them as fast as not watering the plants at all. Landscaping is an art that requires a lot of patience and you should take care of the plants accordingly.

Each plant has different requirements regarding the soil and humidity nutrients, so it is always advisable to research for the proper needs of your plants. The level of the acidity of the soil should also be known. Some plants are grown in acidic soils and some in non-acidic soils so relevant care should be taken in accordance. The fertilizer should be applied one time in year as per the guiding principles written on its container.

Pruning of the plants, shrubs and trees can add up to their look and may enhance flowering. The proper care can help them to stay healthy and fine. Your plants require proper research and care to prosper and bloom.
